Okay I've neglected my blog for way too long...

Let's see...

1. I passed my driving test! Actually got through the first time! *cheers* I'm officially a P license driver. I owe it all to my new buddy Koshin, who risked his life teaching me how to drive! Nehehe
2. I am bored out of my mind.
3. I've registered for my degree...finally.
4. I have yet to watch the Oscar Award Winning film, Slumdog Millionaire.
5. Maxis gave me RM18 free credit! So I called Mathew...and discovered his talent in immitating people. Hahaha
6. Oh yeah! I met Shaun Eric Ravind for the first time, met his girlfriend too. We went out for lunch, Peter joined us. Met Su Chen, Heva, Heva's mum and sis. God I miss them so much.
7. Still single, still happy. Nehehe.
8. Driving wise: Daddy says "Keep to ya lane, keep to ya lane" Mummy says "Brake, brake, BRAKE!!!"
9. Visited Si Wei who looks smexy in SJMC's hospital gown. Hahaha!
10. I can't believe I find him so attractive! Wow!

12. I'm missing Lizzie very much! =(

Ruby Ruby Ruby!

Ruby took me to Sunway for lunch today! We had Kenny Rogers (one of my all time faves) paid about 16 bucks for it all...was pretty worth it I'd say.
Then the most amazing thing happened, I didn't spend a single cent after that! Ooooh Heva would be so pwoud! Ehe! (God, I sound annoying! *rolls eyes at self*)
Actually, we were in Sunway because Ruby had to cash in a cheque, so being the curious sibuk fella I observed and learnt how to deposit a cheque. My next lesson was "How to withdraw money from the ATM machine?" which I learnt shortly after lunch.
Ruby wanted to get herself a good book for the upcoming one month holiday. So we headed straight to MPH, where she grabbed a book called Inkheart (trilogy) I just stared at the thick book...I wanna buy a story book too! Tada duit bah! Ish ish! Menyampah-ness. Anyway, Ruby sure deserved her new book, she has been working really hard, studies and her part time job...she so deserved it.
We headed back to college to revise our studies after that. Besides banking in and withdrawing money, I discovered that:

1. We are all very fortunate, in some way.
2. Our choices and desires are the factors that define us
3. Si Wei rather go CC then see my face! Hmph! Geram-ness

Right now, I should be offline and "dating" my Social Psychology book. But no, I had to watch Guru and get hooked on the song Tere Bina, come online and blog...gosh I need discipline! I'm going off now.

I'm 18...seriously

This post is to remind me to think of what someone dear to me has advised. For the first time I will be looking at things from a different way...his way. It makes sense but somehow I need time to think it through. I realized that even if I cut my hair short to look younger, it wouldn't really help. Suddenly, I'm thinking about what I've always wanted and when I compare and contrast it with others I discovered I'm going to be one miserable successful person. Gosh...

Super Coordinators

Iwan & Shawn [The only picture I have =( ]

Last December (yes i know...its a super late blog entry) i was given the opportunity to be part of the coordinator team at AOL camp. It was a 4 day camp that trained students aged 12 to17 about learning skills and motivated them for their upcoming exams. I was the only female coordinator in a group of 6 coordinators.
My team mates (I nicknamed them till I forgot their real names):

My Secret Service Dude

For 4 days...from 8am to 5pm...we laughed, joked, competed and encouraged one another and the participants of the camp. We were each assigned a team, but being the super hyper one, I couldn’t stay still and visited every team. As the hours passed, I began to bond with the participants. Some of them needed the extra push but it was alright, that’s was what we coordinators were for.

Although I was the only girl, my fellow coordinators did not bully me, instead it was the other way around. Nehehe. When we’re not coordinating I spent my time playing Truth or Dare with Shawn and Iwan. It was…controversial but super fun!

On graduation day, I was reluctant to let them go. I was invited on stage to say a few words and I decided not to prepare anything…may every word come from my heart.
After that we took pictures (which no one has sent to me to this day) hugged, and there were some tears (not from me…cuz I really held it in) We exchanged phone numbers (some took mine, but didn’t give me theirs) Overall, it ended well, but I am definitely going to miss them.

Oh yeah, and that picture you see up there, that's the two guys that were my buddies at camp. I stole that picture from Shawn. Nehehe.

I solemnly swear that I am Back!

I’m blogging through my N90 now and I believe I can say that I am finally making the most of its numerous features. The title of this entry says it all actually, Mel is back! Hopefully i wont be disappearing all of a sudden again. Ooooh yeah, about terminating this blog, well i really dont have the heart to do so. =)

I shall begin 2009 with a post on my special buddy since I was 15!

The only guy who calls my house phone and gets away with it.

Who has fought, cried, yelled, laughed and even uhh got lah something with me.

One of my closest buddies that harasses me when I am sick bacause by some force of nature he knows I am (I think he'd probably call me when I'm in labour)

The one guy who other a certain someone, that has ever serenade me with his guitar and voice. (When you say nothing at all - Ronan Keating)

Who started calling me all sorts of names including Lil Melly and Squishy...or was that my creation.

I could go on forever but I'm not exactly feeling well (Sorry Si Wei, hope you understand)

One Last Time

Hey there people who actually read this blog *grins at you*
